Additionally, this document outlines the creation of transport and logistics centers along the international bypass road from Almaty to Bishkek to Tashkent, which will facilitate the redistribution of transit cargo.
Moreover, the project includes a number of other initiatives:
- The reconstruction of Manas Airport, which includes the construction of a new runway, a new terminal, and a maintenance center for aircraft. These changes will help provide the necessary conditions for the increasing number of passengers and cargo.
- The construction of a 175-kilometer railway line that will bypass the built-up areas of Bishkek. This will relieve the existing railway tracks and improve suburban and urban transport. The project also includes the creation of an 11.2-kilometer branch to Manas Airport and the construction of a new station.
- The creation of a full-fledged 89-kilometer road bypass around the capital, which is necessary for the effective passage of transit transport and the redistribution of flows, as well as for organizing additional exits from the southern districts of the city.
The planned length of the southern section of the bypass road will be 49.4 kilometers, while the northern section will be 39.4 kilometers. The project also includes the construction and reconstruction of 15 multi-level transport interchanges, two overpasses over the railway, and off-street pedestrian crossings.
