The opening of the auditorium became part of the technical assistance project of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), aimed at developing the institutional environment for public-private partnerships (PPP) in Kyrgyzstan. The main task of this project is to enhance the qualifications and training of specialists equipped with modern methods of investment analysis and project management in the field of PPP.

The new space is equipped with modern multimedia equipment and decorated in the corporate colors of the EDB and KRSU. Lectures, seminars, project sessions, and scientific-practical conferences dedicated to the development of PPP and integration processes in Eurasia will be held here.

Nurlan Akmatov, the EDB director for the Kyrgyz Republic, emphasized the importance of this event for strengthening ties between educational and financial institutions:

“This is an important step in implementing joint initiatives. The project not only creates modern educational programs but also forms an environment where knowledge resonates with practice. Young specialists will be able to develop the skills necessary for working on PPP projects, and their energy will become a catalyst for sustainable economic growth in the country.”

Svetlana Maslova, the EDB director for PPP projects, added that similar initiatives are being implemented in other countries such as Armenia, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan. She noted: “Earlier, we opened a similar auditorium in Yerevan, and that project turned out to be quite successful. Now we aim to spread best practices to other countries in the region.”

Nurbek Anarbekov, the director of the Center for Public-Private Partnerships at the National Investment Agency and a graduate of KRSU, shared his emotions about the opening of the auditorium: “Returning to my alma mater, I feel proud. Students can now study in modern conditions, mastering relevant disciplines and interacting with leading financial institutions. I am glad that the project started specifically at KRSU, which underscores the trust in our university.”

Evgeny Shekunov, the vice-rector for research at KRSU, noted that the opening of the EDB auditorium aligns with the university's modernization course: “KRSU is undergoing changes, and such projects are part of our development. I am confident that cooperation with the Eurasian Bank will stimulate new ideas, research, and educational programs that meet the challenges of modernity.”

The establishment of the EDB auditorium has become an important event for the Kyrgyz academic and business community, enhancing the integration of educational and financial institutions in Eurasia and opening new horizons for KRSU students in their professional development and participation in sustainable projects.
