According to information from the local administration, the goal of this project is to enhance the energy security of the region and expand the production of environmentally friendly energy.
Currently, a special device for monitoring wind speed has been installed in the Kara-Bayyr pasture of the Kosh-Dobo rural municipality. This device will operate for a year, during which data on wind conditions will be collected. After this period, the installation of 32 wind turbines is planned, which will be able to produce 200 megawatts of electricity, transmitted directly to the Tash-Kumyr hydroelectric power station.
