Since 2015, 650 assessments of regulatory impact have been prepared, of which more than 60% of the 15,000 business comments received have been taken into account.
This year, mutual trade among the EAEU countries increased by 9.1%, exceeding last year's figure of 6.7%. At the same time, the volume of trade in services grew by 16.1%.
The single services market of the EAEU now covers 142 sectors, and a list of 117 priority areas for further liberalization has been approved.
Among the achievements is also the creation of maps of joint tourist routes, which include 419 sites and 38 routes across the countries of the union.
Since 2020, over 34,000 violations have been identified in the EAEU states, and 53 million units of counterfeit products have been seized.
The unemployment rate in the union has decreased to 0.7%.
The updated list of the most in-demand professions by the EEC contributes to better alignment of workforce training with the actual needs of the economies of the member states. Workers from these countries have equal rights with citizens regarding access to medical care, sick leave, and accident insurance.
Particular attention is given to access to education for the children of migrant workers. The implications of new testing rules in Russian schools for labor mobility are also being discussed.
The meeting also addressed the issue of pension provision. Speakers noted that the main task is to launch full electronic interaction between the EAEU states, which should simplify and shorten the time for pension appointments. As of last year, the number of pensioners receiving benefits under the Agreement on Pension Provision for Workers from the member states of the union amounted to 13,854 people.
