Adakhan Madumarov: "I no longer intend to restrain supporters who wish to go out to rallies."

Adakhan Madumarov: 'I am no longer willing to restrain supporters who wish to go out to protests'
Co-chairman of the "Butun Kyrgyzstan Emgek" party Adakhan Madumarov stated that his party lost more than 10,000 votes due to the dishonest counting of votes by the Central Election Commission (CEC) and the pressure during the court proceedings regarding their case, which was not enough to enter the parliament of Kyrgyzstan.

– The session on October 27 showed that the judiciary in Kyrgyzstan is not independent. "How unfortunate it is that you were late," they told us in court. Tens of thousands of votes have been lost, trampled. All of this suggests that the CEC has several versions of the protocols, – said Madumarov during his press conference in Bishkek.

According to the politician, his party will file a lawsuit in the Constitutional Chamber of Kyrgyzstan and they do not intend to tolerate the complete disregard of Kyrgyz citizens by the court. He also noted that it is not excluded that there will be pressure on the judge of the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek, who issued a ruling obligating the CEC to recount votes in some polling stations, but was later rejected by the Supreme Court. However, representatives of the "Butun Kyrgyzstan Emgek" party will monitor his fate.

– I am ready to publicly refuse my mandate, but the party must enter the parliament and represent the interests of its voters, whose votes were stolen from us, – noted Madumarov, commenting on the discrepancy between the data from automated management systems and the manual count of more than 200 votes from citizens who voted for the "Butun Kyrgyzstan Emgek" party.

Adakhan Madumarov also added that despite the fact that he has never been an advocate of illegal actions, he is no longer willing to restrain his supporters who wish to go out to protests due to the clear violation of the party's rights.

– There are fewer and fewer opportunities to defend our interests, the party, and the votes of voters in the legal field. I am often reproached for being the last romantic, for believing in justice in the world, in Kyrgyzstan. However, I will no longer restrain my supporters. How they will defend their votes and position is their right, – concluded Madumarov.

Let us remind you that co-chairman of the "Butun Kyrgyzstan Emgek" party Adakhan Madumarov stated on October 14 that the parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan were held with numerous violations, and that he has a whole range of documentary evidence indicating the irregular conduct of the elections.
