The signed agreement aims to support both long-term and medium-term development priorities of Mongolia. Its main directions include ensuring inclusive access to quality education, expanding medical services, strengthening institutional systems, and enhancing the country's capacity in disaster risk management and developing resilient infrastructure.

Within the framework of this program, four key investment projects will be implemented, targeting:
Improvement of the quality and accessibility of medical services in the aimags;
Expansion of access to quality education in times of economic hardship (second additional financing);
Development of workforce skills in accordance with labor market needs;
Increasing Mongolia's resilience to natural disasters.

Project Implementation Overview:

Development of Education and Skills Infrastructure: To enhance access to quality education and reduce the number of overcrowded classrooms, the government intends to build 31 new schools and 9 kindergartens across the country. Additionally, a reform of vocational and technical education (VTE) institutions will be conducted to improve the quality of training in line with labor market requirements, ensuring the preparation of qualified specialists in in-demand sectors.

Improvement of the Healthcare System: To modernize emergency and intensive care services nationwide, 17 general hospitals in aimags and 6 soum hospitals, as well as facilities located along major transport routes and border crossings with high accident rates, will be equipped with modern equipment and infrastructure. These improvements aim to reduce inequality in access to medical care between urban and rural areas.

Enhancing Disaster Preparedness: To improve Mongolia's resilience to natural disasters, new equipment will be acquired for the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). This will enhance disaster response, conduct search and rescue operations, and accelerate recovery processes.
