From November 4 to 6, the second World Summit on Social Development is taking place in Doha (Qatar), featuring high-ranking representatives from Kyrgyzstan: Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov, Minister of Education Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, and Deputy Minister Lira Samykbaeva.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Education, Kyrgyzstan held a special session at the summit titled "Investing in Human Capital: Programs and Best Practices of the Kyrgyz Republic."

During the session, key aspects of educational reform in the country were discussed, including the development of human capital, the creation of a fair and sustainable education system, and the preparation of youth for life and work in modern realities.

Kyrgyzstan showcased its achievements in educational reforms, including the transition to 12 years of education. Priority areas were also highlighted, such as the establishment of STEM laboratories, ensuring equal access to education for girls, the development of preschool education, fostering environmental culture, and strengthening the system of vocational and technical education.

Minister Kendirbaeva emphasized the importance of international cooperation in the process of educational transformation. She stressed that no country can tackle challenges alone, especially in the face of global issues and climate change.

"We are confident that investments in education are investments in peace, a sustainable society, and conscious citizens. Education creates a future where a person lives in harmony with themselves, with others, and with the planet," she added.
