Today, November 11, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, held a meeting with the Ambassador of Japan to Kyrgyzstan, Goda Hideki, marking the conclusion of his diplomatic mission. During the conversation, the president expressed gratitude for the ambassador's successful work and noted that Japan has established itself as a reliable partner of Kyrgyzstan, contributing to the sustainable development of the country.
Important projects implemented with the support of the Japanese government contribute to the socio-economic progress of Kyrgyzstan, which, according to the president, significantly improves the quality of life of citizens and strengthens bilateral ties.
Sadyr Japarov also emphasized the increase in the number of Japanese tourists coming to the country, which is a result of Ambassador Goda Hideki's efforts to promote Kyrgyzstan's tourism potential in Japan.
The ambassador, in turn, expressed gratitude to the head of state for the support and warm attitude he felt throughout his work in Kyrgyzstan.
Goda Hideki emphasized that in recent years, Kyrgyz-Japanese relations have significantly strengthened, especially after the official visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan to Japan, which was an important step in the development of bilateral relations.
The ambassador also noted the growth of tourist flows from Japan to Kyrgyzstan and recalled a meeting that took place in 2023 in Tokyo with representatives of the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA), which contributed to promoting Kyrgyzstan as an attractive destination for Japanese citizens.
Goda Hideki added that Japan considers Kyrgyzstan an important partner in the region and intends to continue to promote the development of cooperation in political, economic, humanitarian, and cultural spheres.
