Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, held a meeting with farmers today. This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan.
Deputy ministers, farmers from various regions of the country, and representatives of the State Tax Service attended the meeting.
The farmers raised issues regarding taxation and expressed concerns about tax calculations. They requested a review of the existing tax assessments and the possibility of their adjustment within the framework of current legislation.
Torobaev listened carefully to all the appeals and instructed the employees of the State Tax Service to thoroughly study the raised issues and propose options for their revision in strict accordance with the law.
The Minister emphasized that support for farmers and agricultural producers remains an important direction of state policy. He added that work on solving problems in the agricultural sector will continue in collaboration with the relevant state institutions.
The Ministry of Agriculture noted that the farmers were pre-registered to participate in the meeting through the public reception office and arrived according to the established schedule.
