A deputy proposed to postpone the licensing of taxi services for six months
In Kyrgyzstan, there may be a significant increase in taxi prices, potentially rising to 700-800 soms. This statement was made by Deputy Dastan Bekeshev of the Jogorku Kenesh.
He reminded that starting from February 1, all taxis will be required to switch to a licensing regime.
According to the deputy, if the government does not make the necessary changes, many workers in the taxi sector may be left without jobs, and the cost of services could rise not to 200-300 soms, but to 700-800 soms.
