GKNB Board: Over five years, assets worth 352 billion soms have been returned to the state
During the meeting, Tashiev emphasized the significant achievements of the agencies responsible for ensuring state and public security, as well as their efforts in combating organized crime and corruption. In the reporting period, special attention was paid to fighting corruption in government institutions, identifying and stopping the illegal activities of officials, and cleansing state structures of corrupt elements. Tashiev stressed that combating corruption is one of the fundamental priorities of state policy and is carried out on a systematic and institutional basis.
The board also reported that over the past five years, thanks to anti-corruption measures and operational investigative actions, the state managed to recover 352 billion soms (approximately 4.14 billion US dollars) in the form of financial assets, state property, land plots, and other material values.
These funds have been fully credited to the special account of the Stabilization Fund of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and are used exclusively at the direction of the head of state for the implementation of socially significant projects, improving infrastructure, and enhancing the well-being of the country's citizens.
