The aim of these changes is to clearly define the standards that pawnshops in the country must meet.
The minimum charter capital for pawnshops will be:
- from January 1, 2025 - at least 3,000,000 (three million) soms;
- from July 1, 2026 - at least 7,000,000 (seven million) soms;
- from July 1, 2027 - at least 14,000,000 (fourteen million) soms;
- from July 1, 2028 - at least 20,000,000 (twenty million) soms.
The resolution comes into effect fifteen days after its official publication.
