Sadyr Japarov addressed the deputies and urged them to carefully examine the issues raised
During this meeting, the president noted that the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh should approach the issues raised in public discussions more responsibly. "When 100-200 people express their opinions, deputies immediately strive to speak out to demonstrate their significance before voters, without considering the correctness or consequences of their words. They may say, 'Leave everything as it is, give us two or three months,' which sometimes sounds like populism," Japarov explained.
He urged parliamentarians to pay attention to a thorough analysis of each issue before bringing it to discussion. "The possible consequences of their decisions should be carefully weighed. I am not against criticism, as I was a deputy myself, but I have always considered it important to conduct analysis and justify my ideas. If we make mistakes, that's okay. But to avoid awkward situations, we need to gather and hold open discussions together with citizens and the government," the president added.
It is likely that the president mentioned the deputies in connection with their proposals to shorten the training periods in driving schools.
