Sadyr Japarov addressed the deputies who criticized the training duration for drivers
During the discussion, he raised the issue of how the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh respond to the opinions of voters. "As soon as a group of 100-200 people starts a discussion, the deputies immediately take the microphones and try to express their opinions to demonstrate their concern for the people. It is important that they do not just react to emotions but thoroughly study the situation. I urge them: before raising an issue, carefully weigh all the pros and cons. This should bring real benefits, not just be populism," the president noted.
Japarov also added that his experience as a deputy taught him how important it is to avoid populism and always investigate issues before making statements. He suggested that deputies gather for joint discussions with the government to approach such matters more constructively.
Most likely, the president implied that deputies are calling for a reduction in the training period for drivers in driving schools.
