The president listened to the report of the head of the National Agency for Religious Affairs
On February 3, Monday, the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov held a meeting with the chairman of the National Agency for Religious Affairs Talantbek Tashibekov, during which a report on the agency's activities was presented.
This meeting was a significant event in the context of the development of the state structure: the commission, transformed last year, now has the status of a National Agency, which emphasizes the importance of issues of faith and interethnic harmony for the current government.
During the discussion, special attention was paid to plans for awarding outstanding figures in connection with the 30th anniversary of the organization. Japarov expressed support for this initiative and proposed posthumously awarding the title of Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic to Chubak Jalilov, a well-known religious figure and preacher, whose figure remains significant for believers.
At the end of the meeting, the president instructed Tashibekov to continue the work of the National Agency in a systematic and transparent manner, emphasizing the importance of strengthening interfaith and interethnic harmony, as well as promoting unity and justice in society.
