At a meeting with cadets at the State Center for Vehicle Registration and Driver Licensing, President Sadyr Japarov stated that the fight against crime has been completed much faster than the fight against corruption. "Criminal groups have been eliminated, and we continue to battle corruption, although we have managed to reduce its level. However, it still remains a problem. Unlike crime, which can be eradicated in a month, corruption can continue to exist for decades," he emphasized.

According to the president, he has achieved success in the fight against corruption in the "White House" and the cabinet of ministers, as these structures are in the public eye.

Nevertheless, in local government bodies, such as city halls and rural districts, corruption continues to exist. Japarov noted that there are cases of negligence, theft, and ineffective service to citizens. "We acknowledge that decisions important to the population are not always executed promptly. But we will definitely reach the rural councils as well," he added.
