Sadyr Japarov: Fighting Crime Turned Out to Be Much Easier Than Fighting Corruption
According to the president, he has achieved success in the fight against corruption in the "White House" and the cabinet of ministers, as these structures are in the public eye.
Nevertheless, in local government bodies, such as city halls and rural districts, corruption continues to exist. Japarov noted that there are cases of negligence, theft, and ineffective service to citizens. "We acknowledge that decisions important to the population are not always executed promptly. But we will definitely reach the rural councils as well," he added.
