The government hour is taking place in parliament
Today, a government hour is being held in the Jogorku Kenesh, where ministers report on their work and answer questions from deputies. This event was organized in response to numerous requests from parliamentarians, who previously insisted on the need to invite officials to discuss various issues.
Some deputies expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of responses to their requests and criticized the insufficient presence of ministers at parliamentary meetings, as well as the communication of certain government members with parliamentarians.
At the current meeting, the Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev is absent, as he is on a working visit to Dubai to participate in the World Government Summit. This caused discontent among deputy Kurmankul Zulushiev. Speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu clarified that Kasymaliev had notified in advance about his trip, and it had been agreed upon.
The meeting is being conducted with the participation of cabinet members, led by the First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev.
Turgunbek uulu noted that the day before, he had discussed issues of interaction between the legislative and executive branches of power with President Sadyr Japarov and expressed hope for a positive resolution of all issues.
