At today's meeting, held on February 10, President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree appointing Alisher Erbaev as Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) and Director of the Anti-Terrorism Center. Uranbek Shadybekov took the position of Deputy Chairman of the GKNB and became the Director of the Cybersecurity Coordination Center.

Alisher Erbaev was previously a deputy of the 7th convocation of the Jogorku Kenesh from the "Butun Kyrgyzstan" party and had held several leadership positions in the GKNB, including the post of head of the Main Directorate.

Information about Uranbek Shadybekov is quite limited; however, it is known that during the pre-election debates, former GKNB head Adil Segizbaev mentioned that Shadybekov headed the secret service of the GKNB during the rule of Kurmanbek Bakiyev.

On February 10, a decision was also made to relieve Kamchybek Tashiev from the position of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security. He was temporarily replaced by Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov as acting Chairman of the GKNB. On the same day, three Deputy Chairmen of the GKNB resigned.
