The Ministry of Internal Affairs denied rumors about the transfer of the special forces regiment to direct subordination to the president.

According to the information from the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, reports circulated in some media and social networks about the transfer of the special forces regiment to the direct subordination of the president are not true. Such rumors about the signing of a decree are false and have no basis. The special forces regiment continues its work as usual. The agency urges citizens to rely only on official sources of information and to avoid spreading unverified data.

We remind you that on February 10, Sadyr Japarov signed a decree relieving Kamchybek Tashiev of his duties as Deputy Prime Minister - Chairman of the State Committee for National Security. Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov has been appointed as the acting chairman of the SCNS, and three deputy chairmen of the SCNS have also been dismissed, with new individuals appointed to their positions.
