Marlen Mamataliyev, a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, spoke about the possible resignation of Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu from the position of speaker of parliament, as well as commented on the recent dismissal of the head of the GKNB, Kamchybek Tashiev.
According to him, the work of the Jogorku Kenesh continues in the usual mode, and such decisions should be made collectively.
“The agenda includes regular issues, and we continue to work in the usual mode. This should be a decision made collectively,” emphasized Mamataliyev, responding to a question about the potential change of speaker.
Regarding Tashiev's resignation, the deputy noted that this decision was made by President Sadyr Japarov.
“Kamchybek Tashiev himself has already commented on his resignation. For many, this came as a surprise, as there were no obvious prerequisites for such a step. However, every public servant, while in their position, understands the hierarchy. Just as a soldier obeys their general, public servants act according to the established order. We continue to work in this mode,” he added.
