“Everyone will do their own thing”
The mayor of Osh, Zhenishbek Toktorbaev, stated that no conflicts are expected between President Sadyr Japarov and Kamchybek Tashiev. This statement was made during a morning meeting with the city's residents.
Toktorbaev also reported that, according to his information, Tashiev has encountered health issues, specifically, one of the installed stents has shifted, which forced him to undergo an examination in Germany. He noted that Tashiev and the president have a long-standing friendship, and these personal connections should not be mixed with politics.
Furthermore, the mayor emphasized that the decision regarding a possible resignation remains solely with the head of state.
“There should be neither a split nor violations of the law in the country. I am confident that there will be no confrontation, and everyone will do their own thing,” he added.
