Today, a meeting was held in the Jogorku Kenesh, during which pressing issues were discussed, including the resignation of the speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu. Deputy Kamila Talieva made sharp remarks concerning not only what is happening in parliament but also the relationships at the highest levels of power.
Talieva reported that in recent days, voters had approached her expressing concern and bewilderment regarding the rapidly developing political events. According to her, this creates an atmosphere of anxiety among the population.
She claims that disagreements have arisen between President Sadyr Japarov and Kamchybek Tashiev, provoked by gossip. In Talieva's opinion, this has resulted from the dissatisfaction of certain individuals who did not appreciate the contributions of these two politicians to the country's development.
In her speech, the deputy harshly criticized one of the deputy prime ministers, stating that he "is causing a rift" instead of focusing on fulfilling his duties. She added that the recent words of this official have practically devalued the achievements of Kamchybek Tashiev.
Although the name of the deputy prime minister was not mentioned directly, many parliamentarians associate her words with Edil Baisalov, who recently published a post about Tashiev's resignation, sparking active discussions in political circles and social media.
Talieva urged the deputy prime minister to first prove his loyalty to the people, just as Kamchybek Kydyrshaevich did, adding that some officials behave "like bloggers."
Discussing Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu's departure from the speaker's position, she noted that there should be no place for behind-the-scenes intrigues in parliament. She emphasized that the speaker did not divide the deputies or create disagreements; however, in recent days, some members of parliament have been "running back and forth," which led to the resignation.
Talieva stated: "One must not stab in the back."
The deputy expressed disappointment regarding the insufficient activity of her colleagues, noting that only Umbetaly Kadyraliev took the floor, while the others preferred to remain silent.
She proposed that parliament address the president with a collective letter regarding the situation surrounding Kamchybek Tashiev's resignation, emphasizing the need to stop further escalation of the conflict.
"People are calling, worried, as if they have lost a father," Talieva added.
In conclusion, she emphasized that the Jogorku Kenesh should not just be a place for approving the agenda but a full-fledged political platform. In her opinion, parliament should be staffed by people who are ready to withstand pressure, not those who only seek calm and a salary.
