Sadyr Japarov appointed Ermek Omuraliev as ambassador to Italy and several UN organizations

Ermek Omuraliev has become the new ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Italy following the decree signed by President Sadyr Japarov. This was reported by the press service of the president's office.

In addition to his new role, Omuraliev will represent Kyrgyzstan in several international UN organizations, including the Food and Agriculture Organization, the World Food Programme, and the International Fund for Agricultural Development.

Previously, this position was held by Talai Bazarbaev.

Ermek Omuraliev is an experienced diplomat who has been working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since the mid-1990s. He has held various positions both in the central office and abroad. His responsibilities have included issues of economic diplomacy, attracting investments, and developing tourism. Additionally, Omuraliev has experience in the field of civil aviation.
