Recall that earlier, 75 individuals appealed to Sadyr Japarov with a request to organize early presidential elections. Law enforcement agencies state that some claims from this appeal have caused significant public resonance and "aggravated the socio-political situation in the country." In this regard, a criminal case has been initiated under part 1 of Article 278 "Mass Riots" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. On February 11, 75 signatories of the appeal to the president were brought to the investigative authorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Five of them were detained and placed in a pre-trial detention center. Investigative actions are ongoing.
