Citizens will be able to evaluate the changes in the city from their own experience
The new mayor of Osh, Zhanar Akayev, expressed his determination to work hard in his new position. He commented on his recent meeting with President Sadyr Japarov, during which plans for the city's development were discussed.
“I immediately agreed to this position, as I spent my student years here and am well acquainted with the city. I understand that this is a great responsibility, and like my predecessor Jenishbek Toktorbaev, I will work tirelessly. We will continue all the good projects he started as much as possible,” the mayor stated.
According to him, they discussed many issues related to Osh and its further development during the meeting with the president the day before.
“The president emphasized that we must work honestly and set the task of ensuring openness and transparency. We will do everything possible to justify the trust and create comfortable conditions for the residents,” added Zhanar Akayev.
