Altynbek Toktosunov, representing electoral district No. 6, accused Bekmurza Ergeshov, one of the winners of the recent elections, of concealing information about his criminal record.

According to Toktosunov, in 1997, Ergeshov was charged with large-scale drug trafficking, and in 1998, he was sentenced to five years in prison. The candidate claims that Ergeshov served part of this sentence in a colony in Jalal-Abad. Based on this information, Toktosunov submitted a request to revoke Ergeshov's deputy mandate to the Central Election Commission, the General Prosecutor's Office, and the presidential administration. "I provided a copy of the court's decision, and the documents were accepted for consideration," Toktosunov told Kaktus.media.

Kaktus.media reached out for clarification to the Central Election Commission, where they confirmed that requests had been sent to the Supreme Court and the Main Department of Information Technologies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Attempts to contact Ergeshov himself for comments were unsuccessful, as he did not respond to calls and messages.
