In Kyrgyzstan, a program for the development of culture and arts for 2026-2030 has been approved

The program, approved by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev, was developed to implement the decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Urgent Measures of State Support for the Sphere of Culture, Art, and Sports." The document outlines a plan of activities, a budget, as well as a matrix of indicators for monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the program.

The main objectives of the program are as follows:

to ensure citizens' access to cultural values and opportunities for self-expression;
to form and develop civic identity;
to strengthen the role of culture in social transformations and the economic development of the country.

In addition, the program aims to strengthen cultural ties between regions, support cultural initiatives, and create conditions for active citizen participation in the cultural life of the republic. It includes about 30 activities grouped into six priority areas.

The ministries, administrative agencies, and other state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic involved in the implementation of the program have been instructed to ensure its execution on time and in full.
