Today, February 24, Kanybek Dosmambetov decided to resign from his position as Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan. According to sources from the publication VB.KG in government circles, the resignation was submitted at his own request.
Before taking the ministerial post, Dosmambetov headed the department of the State National Security Committee (GKNB) in the Jalal-Abad region. His departure has become a topic of active discussion on social media. This occurred against the backdrop of the publication of an audio recording in which the nephew of Bakyt Torobaev shared his concerns about a lost asphalt concrete plant, claiming that Kanybek Dosmambetov himself was involved in the "seizure" of the business during the time he was leading the regional GKNB department.
