An audio recording surfaced on the internet in which the official's nephew emotionally complains to his uncle about the loss of his business — an asphalt concrete plant. In this conversation, the name of Tai-Muras Tashiev, the son of the head of the State Committee for National Security, is also mentioned, who is allegedly involved in the "seizure" of the plant.
Tai-Muras Tashiev quickly responded to the accusations, completely denying them. He stated that the deal for the acquisition of the plot in Jalal-Abad was conducted in accordance with the law and called the disseminated information an attempt to discredit him.
Bakyt Torobaev confirmed that the recording is authentic, noting that he did indeed communicate with a relative. However, he emphasized that it was a private conversation and urged not to interpret the situation in a political light.
