The candidacy of Akunbekov will also be proposed for approval in the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic for the position of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
It is worth noting that just an hour ago, the presidential administration announced the dismissal of Bakyt Torobaev from his positions as Deputy Chairman and head of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry. The reasons for this decision were not officially stated; however, social media was actively discussing an audio recording in which Torobaev allegedly communicates with his nephew Erkin, mentioning the son of the former head of the State National Security Committee Kamchybek Tashiev, Tai-Muras, the current Minister of Health Kanbek Dosmambetov, as well as alleged coercion to sell a land plot at a reduced price. Tai-Muras Tashiev denied all accusations, as did Bakyt Torobaev himself.
