The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, signed a decree regarding the approval of the "National Program for the Development of Football in Kyrgyzstan for the period from 2026 to 2034." This information has been confirmed by official sources.

The first version of this program was approved back in December 2024, and the new document updates the data and defines new directions for the development of football.

The goal of the program is to create conditions for mass participation in football, increase the level of professionalism among players, and promote a healthy lifestyle among youth. The program includes a whole range of activities.

Within the framework of the program, the following documents have been approved:

National program for the development of football; Eight-year action plan; Program budget; Monitoring system and evaluation criteria.

The implementation of this program involves government bodies, local self-government bodies, and the Football Federation of Kyrgyzstan. These organizations are required to develop their own plans annually and submit reports on the implementation of activities twice a year.

The key tasks of the program are to address issues in the development of football, promote this sport among the population, ensure accessibility of sports activities for all segments of society, and improve the material and technical base.

The phased implementation of activities is aimed at activating the participation of sports organizations and public associations, as well as strengthening efforts to develop football in Kyrgyzstan.
