"Why do we allow such incidents? Control over construction in the city is a very important topic. Bishkek is experiencing a severe shortage of social facilities, and the condition of courtyards leaves much to be desired. Akims do not attend meetings with the population, relying only on house committees and quarter leaders. There is a lack of close contact with citizens. I am convinced that if the mayor's office does not start making changes in its work, it will lead to serious problems," Kozhokulova concluded.
