At a recent parliamentary meeting, Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Karybek uulu Ulukbek reported on the situation regarding the seizure of 18 hectares of land in the Aravan district. He called for accountability for the individual who, according to his information, committed this offense.
According to the parliamentarian, during his career as a journalist, he repeatedly raised the issue that in the Chek-Abad rural administration of the Aravan district, a former security service employee, Sheraly Nurmuratov, illegally seized the aforementioned land plot.
The deputy claims that various facilities were built on this plot, which were then sold to other individuals. He believes that influence and corruption allowed this fact to go unnoticed for many years.
Karybek uulu Ulukbek urged the responsible state authorities to conduct a thorough investigation and take measures regarding the disputed land plot in the interests of the state and local residents.
