The president noted that there is no need to worry about the situation with Kamchybek Tashiev.
Sadyr Japarov commented on the recent words of public figure Murat Zhetimishbaev regarding concerns in Kyrgyzstan about possible consequences for the relationship between the president and former chairman Kamchybek Tashiev, who have close friendly ties, even coining the phrase "eki dos" (two friends).
In an interview with the publication "Kabar," Japarov stated: "If one friend leaves, nothing terrible will happen. There is no need to make a tragedy out of this. Everything will be better than before. Life will not stop. Even if one friend leaves, I will still have more than 7 million friends. Our people and our state are more important to me."
The president added that any actions threatening the peace of the people will be severely punished.
"We have the strength and the wisdom to do this. The growth rate of our economy will continue to increase. Both domestic and foreign policy will remain unchanged," he emphasized.
