The issue of sanctions was also addressed during Kulubaev's bilateral meeting with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan noted that, despite positive changes in Kyrgyz-British relations and the successful implementation of joint projects, unilateral sanctions could negatively affect the further development of trade and financial ties. Kyrgyzstan expressed concern regarding the UK's sanctions policy, calling for a more constructive and balanced approach, and confirmed its readiness for open and equal dialogue.
