At a republican meeting, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, noted that the country is open to investments both domestically and internationally. Currently, a moratorium on unjustified inspections of businesses has been established in the republic, administrative procedures have been simplified, and work is underway to improve legislation.
Addressing representatives of law enforcement and security agencies, Japarov emphasized the importance of protecting honest entrepreneurs, stating that pressure on businesses is unacceptable. He noted that companies that work honestly and contribute to economic development should be under protection. The President added that economic growth slows down when entrepreneurs operate in an atmosphere of fear.
Furthermore, he called for an end to unfounded inspections by heads of local administrations, akims, and businessmen, emphasizing that excessive reporting and unjustified summonses hinder effective work.
The President also demanded greater transparency and honesty from local government bodies, stressing the unacceptability of corruption and abuses.
