The President signed a law ratifying the loan agreement with the OPEC Fund for International Development.

President Sadyr Japarov approved the law that was adopted on February 4, 2026, concerning the ratification of the Loan Agreement titled "First Program for Sustainable and Inclusive Growth." This agreement was concluded between the Kyrgyz Republic and the OPEC Fund for International Development on September 22, 2025, in Bishkek.

In accordance with the new law, the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic has been instructed to notify the OPEC Fund for International Development about the completion of all necessary internal procedures for the loan agreement to come into effect.
According to the resolution of the Jogorku Kenesh dated February 4, 2026, No. 130-VIII, the initiator of this law was the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers. The law will come into force 10 days after its official publication.
