Fuel labeling protects consumers and ensures product authenticity, - GNS
According to him, fuel that enters the country by rail undergoes a labeling process upon import. This labeling is not just a simple mark — it confirms the authenticity of the product.
Akmatov noted that thanks to the labeling, citizens are protected: “It maintains the integrity of the fuel until it is sold to the final consumer. It also prevents the addition of unauthorized additives during transportation: if foreign substances are introduced into the fuel, it will be considered unlabeled and illegal,” he explained.
Moreover, the labeling serves as a control function for fuel supplies on the part of the state. “It helps collect taxes and track legal volumes of supplies,” the department head added.
