Kazakhstan is ready to provide grants to students from Palestine

At a press conference in the Mazhilis, journalists asked about the funds that Kazakhstan has already allocated or plans to allocate as part of its participation in the Council of Peace.

“At the moment, we have not transferred anything yet. We can offer our services to send medical workers with mobile hospitals, as well as provide grants for Palestinian students. Additionally, we are ready to provide humanitarian aid in the form of food,” said Zhumangarin.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump noted that the countries in the Council of Peace have raised $7 billion. Zhumangarin added that the question of a possible financial contribution from Kazakhstan at the government level has not yet been raised.

It is important to note that Kazakhstan became a member of the Council of Peace without making the mandatory financial contribution of one billion dollars, which is stipulated by the organization's charter as voluntary.
