Kulubaev met with Erdogan in Istanbul

On March 7 of this year, a meeting took place in Istanbul between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the heads of foreign ministries of the member states of the Turkic States Organization. The event was held in the format of an informal meeting of the Council of Ministers, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.

Erdoğan welcomed the participants and emphasized the need to further strengthen ties between Turkic peoples. He highlighted the importance of maintaining regular dialogue on key issues both in regional and international contexts. The President also expressed interest in expanding multilateral cooperation within this organization.

During the meeting, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev conveyed personal greetings and best wishes from the country's President Sadyr Japarov to Erdoğan. He noted that Turkey continues to be "one of the main and reliable partners of Kyrgyzstan," with which Bishkek maintains friendly and respectful relations, as well as a strategic partnership.

In addition, Kulubaev highlighted Erdoğan's significant personal contribution to peacekeeping initiatives aimed at resolving regional and global conflicts through diplomacy.

The Minister also shared information about preparations for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit and the World Nomad Games, which are scheduled to take place this year in Bishkek.
