On March 8 in Beijing, at a press conference during the session of the National People's Congress, China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated the country's intention to continue strengthening its strategic partnership with Russia by 2026 amid global instability. He emphasized that this year marks the 30th anniversary of bilateral relations, which are characterized by high resilience.
Wang Yi noted: "Despite any global crises, whether they be unrest or chaos, our ties with Russia remain stable and reliable, like a mountain. We act 'back to back,' which underscores our ability to withstand external provocations and pressure."
The minister added that the strong political trust between the two countries allows them to effectively coordinate their actions on pressing issues of the international agenda, including countering unilateral actions and aggression.
