The Cabinet of Ministers has made changes to the resolution on the ban on the export of oil and petroleum products from the Kyrgyz Republic

The government website has published amendments to Resolution No. 159 dated March 7, 2026, concerning the temporary ban on the export of oil and petroleum products beyond the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.

Although the general ban on the export of oil and certain petroleum products transported by road and rail remains in effect, the list of exceptions has been expanded. In particular, the amendments pertain to the following:

"The second paragraph of the first point is to be stated in a new edition:

" - the export of oil (code 2709 of the EAEU Commodity Nomenclature) and petroleum products (code 2710 of the EAEU Commodity Nomenclature) using road and rail transport is prohibited, except for gasoline grades AI-92 (K-2), AI-80, diesel fuel (K-2), naphtha for the oil refinery LLC 'China Petrol Company 'Junda' and JSC 'Kyrgyzneftegaz', as well as fuel oil and heating oil (code 2710 of the EAEU Commodity Nomenclature), produced by local oil refineries".

The document comes into effect from the moment of its official publication.
