The reason for the postponement was the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East.
According to information provided by Donald Trump's special envoy, Stephen Whitcoff, a new meeting of the trilateral peace negotiations between Ukraine, Russia, and the US is expected next week. This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Whitcoff in an interview with CNBC.
The planned meeting, which was supposed to take place on March 10-11 in Turkey, was postponed at the initiative of the American side due to the conflict in Iran. Zelensky confirmed that the Ukrainian delegation was ready to go to Turkey, but alternative locations are now being considered, including Switzerland. The previous round of negotiations took place in mid-February in Geneva.
