The first stop was the regional combined hospital in Karakol, built in 1968 and designed for 550 beds. The head of the Cabinet checked the operation of the intensive care and surgical departments, as well as the condition of the equipment and treatment facilities. Additionally, he was shown the construction process of a new building for 350 beds, which began in 2024 and is expected to be completed in 2027. The structure will consist of eight blocks.
Then, Kasymaliev visited the anti-plague department of the Center for Control and Prevention of Especially Dangerous and Quarantine Infections, the building of which was erected in 1894. He noted that the laboratory does not meet modern biological safety standards and instructed the relevant services to consider the construction of a new building and the upgrading of equipment.




Concluding his visit, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers visited the Issyk-Kul Regional Bureau of Forensic Examination. The institution, located in a building constructed in 1897, is in a state of emergency and includes three divisions. Kasymaliev instructed the relevant authorities to consider the possibility of modernizing the infrastructure, including the construction of a new building and the upgrading of equipment.
