Kyrgyz citizens will have to choose between 'Bala Irysy' and other benefits

A new rule is being introduced in the Kyrgyz Republic, according to which recipients of state assistance will not be able to combine the "Bala Irysy" benefit with existing payments. Adel Zhomartova, the chief specialist of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, announced this during a broadcast on the "Kabar" agency.

According to Zhomartova, families receiving assistance under the "Üy-bülögö kömök" program or funding for residents of high-altitude areas will not be able to simultaneously receive the "Bala Irysy" benefit. Citizens will need to choose one type of state support, allowing them to assess which option will be the most convenient. However, receiving benefits for one child from two sources will no longer be possible.

Additionally, the ministry is considering the possibility of submitting applications through the mobile application "Tündük." Specialists recommend that parents check the availability of all necessary documents in advance. It is important to complete the digitization of children's birth certificates by July 1, if they have not yet been entered into the electronic database; otherwise, it will be impossible to apply for the benefit online.
