People of different ages and professions gathered at the event, united by a common history. Among the participants were veterans who fought in Afghanistan and participated in the Batken events, diplomats from the Russian Consulate General in Osh, military personnel from the Kant airbase, and representatives of the Russian House. Activists from the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan, veterans of the navy, students, and creative figures also joined the event. This unity created an atmosphere of sincerity and warmth.
The laying of the alley is the first stage in the creation of a large-scale memorial complex. In the near future, a monument called "The Mourning Mother" is planned to be installed here, dedicated to the soldiers who did not return from the battlefield during the years 1941–1945. Additionally, memorial plaques will be placed in the park in memory of veterans who passed away in peacetime. The central place in the memorial will be occupied by the Eternal Flame, symbolizing the undying memory of the price paid for Victory.
The initiators of this significant project are Kanybek Tilekeev, the chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan for the Jalal-Abad region, and Viktor Malyuzhenko, the head of the "Slavic Diaspora." Their initiative is aimed not only at preserving historical truth but also at strengthening friendship and unity among peoples. The open "Alley of Glory" promises to become an important place of remembrance in the city, where the silence of the park will keep the memories of the courage of ancestors.
