Powerful cyclones continue to operate over a significant territory of Kazakhstan, leading to snowfall and blizzards. In the southern and southeastern regions, rain is expected to transition to snow, as well as icy conditions; blizzards will be observed in mountainous areas.
Additionally, the republic is expected to experience gusty winds with speeds of 15-20 m/s, locally reaching 23-28 m/s, as well as fog during the night and morning hours in the south and southeast.
Air temperatures in the western regions will vary: at night from -10 to -18 degrees, and during the day – from -3 to +5 degrees, possibly dropping to -15. In the northern, central, and eastern regions, a decrease in temperature is expected to -12 to -28 degrees at night and -8 to -18 degrees during the day. In the south and southeast of the country, cooling is also anticipated: at night, temperatures may drop to -5 to -20 degrees, while during the day they will rise to 1-13 degrees.
