
From December 16 to 20, Uzbekistan is expected to experience a drop in temperature accompanied by snow and rain. Winds will come from both the east and west, with gusts up to 12 meters per second.
In Karakalpakstan and Khorezm, the cloud cover will be variable, with no precipitation expected, except for possible snow on December 19. Fog may also occur in some areas. The wind will be from the east, shifting to the west, with a speed of 7–12 meters per second. At night on December 17, the temperature will drop to 3–8 degrees below zero, and from December 18 to 20, it will be 5–10 degrees below zero, while during the day the temperature will fluctuate from 2 degrees below zero to 3 degrees above zero.
In the territories of Bukhara and Navoi regions, variable cloud cover is also expected. Most days will be dry, but on December 18, rain and snow are possible, and on December 20, only snow. Fog may occur in some areas. The wind will blow at a speed of 7–12 meters per second, shifting from east to west.
In Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, and Syrdarya regions, rain is possible in some areas on December 17, and on December 18, rain with snow. From December 19 to 20, snow and fog are expected. The wind will be from the west, at the same speed of 7–12 meters per second. At night on December 17, the temperature will range from 0 to 5 degrees above zero, and during the day from 2 to 7 degrees above zero; from December 18 to 20, at night the temperature will drop to 0-5 degrees below zero, while during the day it will remain within 0–5 degrees above zero.
In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, variable cloud cover will be observed throughout the week. On December 17, rain will occur in some areas, on December 18 it may turn to snow, and on December 19 and 20, precipitation—rain and snow—is also expected.
In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, variable cloud cover is also predicted. Rain is expected on December 17, on December 18—rain with a possible transition to snow, and from December 19 to 20—snow in some areas. Fog is also possible. The wind will be from the west, at a speed of 7–12 meters per second. The temperature at night on December 17 will be 0–5 degrees above zero, and during the day—5–10 degrees above zero; from December 18 to 20, at night it will be 0–5 degrees below zero, during the day—0–5 degrees above zero.
In the mountainous regions of the country, variable cloud cover with snowfall is also expected. Fog may occur in some areas, and the wind will be from the west at a speed of 7–12 meters per second.
It is worth noting that in Tashkent, important preparations for the winter season have been completed. As part of the measures to ensure the uninterrupted operation of city services during snowfalls and frosts, a detailed inspection of special equipment was conducted.
