Participants of the meeting of the "Humanitarian Group," held under the leadership of the Secretary of the State Emergency Commission and the UN Resident Coordinator, discussed the current winter conditions, weather forecasts, and potential risks of dzud due to difficulties in winter and spring.
The UN Resident Coordinator emphasized the importance of accurate and timely data for effective humanitarian assistance. He also noted that since last autumn, the government and the humanitarian group have taken measures for early warning and risk reduction.
At the next meeting, participants will be presented with information about the current situation from the State Emergency Commission and other agencies. Partners involved in humanitarian issues will discuss their future plans.

Representatives of international organizations noted that they are closely monitoring the weather conditions and are ready to strengthen humanitarian assistance if the situation requires it. This confirms serious concerns regarding the risks associated with winter conditions and the upcoming livestock wintering.
