From January 22 to 24, Uzbekistan will experience the influx of cold and moist air, as reported by Uzhydromet. Precipitation is expected, mainly in the form of snow, during the night of January 22 and the morning hours of January 23. Ice patches may form on some road sections.
In the foothills and mountainous areas of the republic, snowfall will be observed from January 22 to 23, with heavy precipitation expected in some places. Wind intensification is also anticipated, with speeds reaching 15-20 m/s, and in certain areas, up to 22-25 m/s.
During these three days, the air temperature will drop: at night it will range from -3 to -8 degrees Celsius, and during the day from -3 to +2 degrees. In the northern part of the country, nighttime temperatures may drop to -12…-15 degrees, while daytime temperatures will fluctuate between -2…-5 degrees.
